Owen Wamboldt
I’m the founder and co-owner of Wamboldt Heating and Air Conditioning. I got my start in HVAC back in 2009, diving into every opportunity to learn—whether it was hands-on in the field or working alongside experienced pros. I took on just about every role you can imagine, from installs and maintenance to troubleshooting and repairs.
Every project became a lesson. Every challenge became an opportunity to grow.
Growing up, I watched my father run his own business with an unparalleled level of customer service. I channeled that same entrepreneurial spirit and in 2016 I decided it was time to take the next step and started Wamboldt Heating and Air Conditioning.
With a continued vision, I chose Matt as a partner due to his reputation for quality work and professionalism. Since then, we’ve been growing and serving homeowners across Ottawa and the Valley, making sure people stay comfortable year-round.

Matthew Hauraney
Hi all! I’m a small-town guy with big ambitions. I was born and raised in Perth, Ontario and still enjoy all the country has to offer.
I’ve been in the HVAC and refrigeration industry for more than 10 years and am both a certified red seal refrigeration mechanic, and gas technician. My former co-worker and close friend Owen approached me with the prospect of joining his quickly growing company. I couldn’t say no to the opportunity, and here we are today.
On the personal side, my wife and I are the happy parents of two beautiful little girls and a rambunctious English Springer Spaniel. I’m an avid vinyl record collector, drummer/guitar player and sports enthusiast.
I’m excited to see what the next chapter will bring as partner and co-owner of Wamboldt HVAC, and to serve all our current and prospective clients in Ottawa and surrounding areas.
